Art, music, collaborations — everything to reach the hearts of beer-lovers at the new market
Objective
Launch of the Pabst Blue Ribbon brand and the PBR ART communication platform
Together with m_division and a dozen of curators, an alternative art festival Artification was launched. It was specially created to start a dialogue between representatives of different art niches and bring projects at the intersection of several disciplines — media installations, public art, architecture, and recycling. Unbiased selection, a month of collaborations in a special art residence, and two days of the Gamma festival, where the results were presented.
Experienced curators were involved in the projects: Albina Motor, former producer of the street art museum, Andrey Voronov, architect of the Les and Arkhataki association, Konstantin Stavrov, artist, Andrey Svibovich, founder of the Media culture school in St. Petersburg, the first and only such schools in Russia, Vilgeny Melnikoa and associations Own way and Freak Fabrique. They oversaw the selection of artists and helped in the implementation of projects.
460 applications were submitted for the competition from all over Russia, Europe, and the CIS countries. 63 works were selected — the most relevant, interesting, and realizable. The project managed to attract both commercial and underground artists.
